Item Code:
d = wire diameter
De = external diameter
Di = internal diameter
Dm = average winding diameter (Di+d)
Lo = lenght of spring body (n+1)d
n = number of turns
α° = angle rotation applied in degrees
M = movement outcome M = (RxF)
R = lever
F = force in N
A = length of arms
1 Newton 0,10197 Kg.

The force produced by a torsion spring is defined a "Moment" and is measured in Nmm.
It corresponds to a force multiplied by the lever that is the distance between the winding center of the turns and the application point on the arm.
For rotations in winding directions, the internal diameter of the spring is reduced.
