To determine the load at any working length use rate x proposed deflection.
To calculate the solid height of a ground compression springs, use total coil x wire diameter where total coils equals active coils + 2.
To calculate the solid height of an unground compression springs, use total coil x wire diameter where total coils equals active coils +3.
P1 for stainless steel = 0.883 x P1 music wire.
